Panning Test of Environment


These are two tests of a rendered out panning shot of the 3D set for the narrative animation. The first test is without light effects, and the second is with light and shadows, then adjusted in after effects. The backdrop is one I created in Photoshop.

Progress in After Effects: Chirper chat function



Today I went from this

to this:


 It looks much more like a proper chat now, is the line a little too fast maybe? Getting timing right in AE is near impossible because the playback is always delayed or crashes :p


Edit: the line blinks before the typing starts!

Trying effects in After Effects



 This is the Fade in Effect in After Effects which is an option for our Animation.





And this is the typewriter effect, which one is better? Sorry for the slight delay, I've recorded After Effects play back which is always a little slow...
